The Umoja University Speaker Series is excited to present the "Women in Leadership" Discussion on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 12 p.m.

Six inspiring women leaders from across the landscape of California education will gather to share perspectives on the critical impact that women have made in shaping the educational climate in America. We are at a critical moment in the leadership of Black women with the election of Vice President Kamala Harris and we are seeing how the role of Black women has had an impact on politics, education, innovation. and more. Still, we have a long way to go. 

The panelists will discuss the importance of legacy-building, professional development, and areas where Black women's voices are needed.  This amazing panel will include:
